Hi how are you. Kermit used to have at least a punchers chance in any fight. I say used to because he seems to have lost his power. I have always felt he has regressed since he left Marshall and I, but his last few performances have been dreadful. I watch his fight with Teddy Reid and I see a good boxer with a good chin, decent hand speed, strong, great condition, and power... real power that carries into the later rounds. Now I see a boxer that looks as though he is punching under water, and his punches have nothing on them when they land. It seems as though Ronnie Shields has turned Kermit into a volume puncher. He looks skinny and weak. I was shocked that he weighed in at 151 for a jr middle fight. When he fought Teddy Reid he was 146.5 at weigh in, and 162 come fight time. My opinion is that if the Kermit that we have seen the passed few fights shows up...he loses badly. I think he is done.
I have been saying thhe same thing for years, and everyone thought I was lying, and embellishing. Everything I have said on this board about him was the truth.... both the good and the bad. Unfortunately with Kermit it's almost all bad.
