I sometimes make a note when I believe there may have been a shift in the tide of the fight.... Toward the end of the 5th, Pavlik started to get his jab in, and I believe took Hopkins to the ropes and landed some good leather. I thought there might be a shift in momentum, and that end of that 5th round could be that Hopkins who had worked at a pretty high pace for him, could be tiring.......but then Hopkins goes on and sweeps the next three rounds, and there goes that assumption!:!:
Look at my post during the fight... end of round 5 :good http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=97134&page=43&highlight=round
:yep Which I could join you guys in the round by round, but in a big fight, I'm usually tending to the guests I have for the fight, and making sure they have better insight to the fight than the biased mumbo jumbo that HBO is feeding them!
I agree. I did not give him a round, and I don't think Pav hit Hop with moe than 10 punches either lol.
He never stayed aggressive long enough to have had him winning more than 1 round. I had 9 going either way. I thought Hop rested a bit.
I gave Pavlik the 4th and 10th but i admit I was feeling sympathy for Pavlik to give him a round or 2
