As far as I remember ther was no controversy on the scoring. Lainge won this one straight out.

I only had Laing winning it by one point, personally.

I think Duran was having a bad night, like the time he lost to Wilfred Benitez

Well, he had five more rounds to work against Benitez than he did with Laing, so...

nobody knew what was wrong with hands of stone. he seemed so uninspired and sluggish. Did you see him on the Arguello-Pryor card? Legend says he held out until the end because he didnt want to be on the undercard.

Was it the rapid weight gain and then loss?

    Drugs?

What the **** was wrong with Duran for a few years there?

Close fight but a legit win for Laing, I had him by 2 like the judges. (I think lol)

I felt it was fair too, just seeing if anyone thought otherwise.

One of the commentators had it 8 to 2 for Laing.

    I nearly crapped myself.

I wouldn't say Duran was having a bad night against Benitez, he just couldn't find a way to penetrade El Radar's defense.

I was there;Duran looked liked he hadn't spent a day in the gym...like Buster Douglas did against Holyfield.
