I also saw his fight with Jiles. I scored that for Lundy. Tonight I have him winning rd 1(Both has KD), 2 and 3. Almaraz gets rd4 by 10-8. He still lose. I love to see Lundy vs Jiles/Almaraz again in an 8th rounder.
I thought it was a little strange, particularly the 2 point score, but if you think they traded 10-8 rounds the middle two would make the difference, either Lundy getting both and the lopsided victory, or they get a draw. I thought the first round was 10-9 Lundy, if he took the next two then his win makes sense. Agree that they should fight again for a longer duration.
Yeah i dont know how its possible that the guy won by 2 rounds on 2 of the scorecards being that he got knocked down 2 times! I'd definetly protest that scoring there.
Well, I'm a Pac fan also, but a reasonable one. I had Almaraz by a point. I liked both of those guys. Lundy's problem in the future is that he's too stocky to make 140, but not tall enough to be an effective welterweight. He may not carry the pop up either. Almaraz landed some very clean, sharp combos, but was having trouble figuring out when and what to throw against the counterpuncher. I'd like to see a six-rounder rematch.
That's exactly the way I had it. But it's hard to scream "robbery" with a four rounder. A draw would have been reasonable, I could even see it to Lundy by a point. No way it was two points though. The guy who did that must've scored a 10-8 round for Lundy in the first.
