Exactly, there's no rush with him. Let him progress and not be thrown in deep to early.

Hughie has actually fought a few guys with all different styles, which is only good for his development.

Also, you noticed how much weight he's put on since his amateur days? He's really filled out. He was a bit of a bean pole as an amateur.

    John,

Hughie's age is clearly understood. He would get all the time he needed due to his age to come through when ready if it wasnt for his team hyping the life out of him and stating he will be the youngest heavyweight champion of the world.

If Team Fury simply took their time with Fury there wouldnt anywhere near the amount of criticism, so having Hughie under the microscope is down to their outrageous claims.

Big Josh would beat Hughie Fury and he'd probably even beat Tyson fury, he is a different class to the Fury's

Thats a good point , these travellers are great fighters and can take and give a lot of punishment, both real warriors and i hope they both have good careers

But i just believe that they both lack concussive KO power , with Hughie that might develope and perhaps even Tyson but at the moment id say that Joshua beats nearly every british Heavyweight apart from Haye.

As they say each to thier own ,

tyson isn't the biggest puncher, but he definitely has decent power and the ability to stop anyone in the division

hughie does seem to lack it though, i think he needs to get on a proper strength and conditioning program

Yes that would probably help , if your not a huge puncher then you need to be very good defensively or have an excellent chin, both certainly have good boxing ability and Tyson has shown before that he has the heart to get of the canvas and win.

Fights like that are just to keep him busy, build his name a bit. I didn't see the fight/opponent so I can't overly comment but at this stage in his career the majority of his learning will be done in the gym.

How do you train between fights that come round that regular, ? WORK REST and PLAY, well forget about the later, and is there enough of the middle, to be ready for and focused on the first. :huh

Nobody is hyping him to be the youngest HW champ. At ringside straight after a a KO win in June Hughie said - “I will do it. I will beat Mike Tyson’s record. I’ll be the youngest heavyweight world champion.”

No hype from his team just a young man getting slightly carried away with the occasion.

Hughie is getting barely any TV coverage. He is fighting Danny Hughes soon which will be a decent test.

As far as I am concerned he is being brought along in an excellent manner.
