I missed it and would like to know what happend...did dawson look good, a bit of analysis appreciated...
I hate to say this...I know I am going over the top..But Chad Dawson has to be one of the quickest guys I have ever seen in the ring at that weight. A la roy jones without the unorthodoxness. I mean he is right handed and has all this power in his str8 left hand and he looks like a god damned toothpick. But was beating this other sturdy looking guy that was not good but he was most definitely strong. Dawson is going to beat the **** out of everybody in the 175 division. It is going to take a guy getting lucky to beat him. He has unreal quickness and punching POWER and can let combinations go and can double and triple right hooks to the body and head. His offense is ferocious.
Yeah i was there,he was awesome fast, throws a ton of punches,i hope i can see him with tavar,he probley chould beat him.
I seen alot of his fights on showtime, and the boy is quick, pretty quick, and can be pretty little slick....BUT ...POWER...no...and he has not been test yet...period. He has not faced a real chanenger as of yet. The fighter he faced on last night was a substution showing up with like a week of preporation, and just a bad miss match. ALL ONE SIDED FIGHT.:tired I like to see him fight against real challenge. The fight before that one the Luis Aberto Perez vs Jospeh "Kong" Agbeko, for the IBF Bantamweight fight was pretty damn good while it lasted.
He is fast... He is good but I dont think he will reach greatness. He reminds me of a prime vernon forrest at light heavyweight.
a real challenge? Ummm he DOMINATED Tomas Adamek who at the time was a BIG favorite and alot of people considered him the best light heavy out there so what are you talking about? :huh
analsis? its was a showcase for Dawson i mean that dude totly outclass Mendoza had his ass on the ropes and was furring away ti'll he tko'ed him.
I thought he didn't look as sharp last night, probably due to the juggling of world class trainers that has been going on for him this year. Though I'd still classify him as the most skilled fighter from MW up to LHW, P4P.
Im a solid fan of Bad Chad. The guy is for real. He has got so many good aspects to his game, and only a few areas that aren't great. I can see him being king of the LHW for a long time.
