I watched the fight again today and without scoring it just seemed to me Herol Graham was being more consistent throughout the fight, although I didn't score it so I aint gonna say Herol won, but what your thoughts?

It was a close fight, Herol did well. In fact he was brillient in stages very couragous. But Mike edged it for me. I think i had it by 2 rounds but there was some swing rounds so a draw is feasible. I'll post my card in a bit.

This thread would be better in the Brit forum, btw.

Graham had the fight in front of him for the taking and failed to capitalise. I seem to remember he went into his shell in the last few rounds when he should have been taking the fight from McCallum :patsch

I thought it was a draw or Graham won by a point.

If Herol had opened up a little bit more,he could have swung the decision his way.

It was mighty close, the difference was for a few brief seconds, The Bomber thought he was going for two falls or submission as well a knockout, and was rightfully docked a point.

It was always funny watching Herol do his little party trick (flipping his opponent over his own back), but it was very dangerous for the opposition.

Yeah, I thought it was just about even but the point deduction (justified) swung it to McCallum.

This is on my "to watch" list...

I'm interested to see how it goes. I'll be scoring it, so I'll try and post my card.

Personally I can't see the "close" thing at all. It was a tough fight, but a wide decision for McCallum imo. Similar to the first Kalambay fight.

Agree with this one, apart from comment on Kalambay, which i didnt see.Was a follower of Herol, saw him box a few times.Saw this on TV.Remember thinking Mike won clearly, maybe not wide. However so many posters think it close will have to try and see it again.Think McCallum has been underrated, for me an ATG at the weight range he boxed at.Who of todays middles or SMWs would beat him,or Herol too for that matter?

I had it McCallum 7-5 in rounds I think. Highly competitive bout, but then Graham had a way of making technical guys wonder what the **** was going on

Or Kalambay for that matter ;)

McCallum would end Canelo's career without breaking a sweat.
