Graham clowned around and traded too much.

Odd that he treated mCCallum with the same disrespect he usually reserved for overmatched domestic\journeyman foes. The other contender vs contender type bouts where there was a high rating or a title at stake like Kaylor, Kalule, both Kalambay fights and Jackson he didn't fool around with the proto-Hamed stuff nearly as much.

McCallum figured him out by using long hooks because you can't land anything else on Graham, but it wasn't quite enough in the end. In a rematch, I would've favoured McCallum.

Notably, a week before the Graham-McCallum fight, Eubank knocked Graham out in under a minute in sparring.

He sees McCallum as a rival...:yep

I swear Atberry thinks, "how would this make Eubank look"? even when scoring fights that have nothing to do with Chris. lol

Herol was up to his old tricks. But i'm not for point deductions unless it's for something REALLY bad. I don't like them impacting on very close fights. You could say he deserved it, that was i think the second time he did it, there was a point where he spun McCallum round and almost wrestled him to the ropes. But it wasn't severe enough for me to warrant a deduction. Just his style and the clash of stances and approaches.

I saw Pete Whitaker make a career out of spinning people round and tapping them on the backside or the back of the head. Just party tricks and it frustrates the hell out of opponents.

Nice one mate, the guy is a delight to watch. I might have to invest in the DVD.

114-113 McCallum. Intriguing fight, Grahams style was all wrong for Mike and baffled him in his first half of the fight, but like all greats McCallum adapted and solved the puzzle.
