i'm posting this for everyone saying hatton could've got up and bayless shouldn't have stopped it.yeah maybe he could've gotten up(doubt it though) but cmon now lets be honest here he was really hurt, his head hit the canvas hard,if he would've gotten up he probably would've got knocked out even worse because what fighter can take such a brutal shot like that then all of a sudden have his legs under him? nobody, that was a bomb from pac and hatton has too much heart to just stay down,he was in danger of getting hurt bad if the ref didn't stop it,so it was a great stoppage imo

Hatton was out of it. He could not get up. I haven't seen anyone complain about the stoppage.

    Dumb topic.

hmm says... of course! It was written on his face, TKO. Technically, a count wasn't necessary. In addition, if the fight did continue, Hatton would've sustained more injuries and would've had his face severely deformed or cut.

Pacquiao is a master face, ring surgeon at best :smoke

are you serious? Look at Hattons face when he gets hit on the chin with the left hook he is unconsious and he hit his head on the canvas. When a person natural instinct to put his hands on the floor to prevent from falling doesnt happen is because he was knocked out cold.

I haven't seen any of these threads where people are arguing that he could have gotten up :) And I am glad about that.

breathing was labored. His eyes were glazed. I thought Manny killed him. He was so knocked out that he could not even do the post fight interview.
