It was premature. Ricky was talking at a party he threw after the fight and he was fine.

 

Of course it was a good stoppage.

The only thing that bothers me is that it was called a TKO when the result was announced. He was KTFO goddamit, it doesn't get any more decisive than that. I see that it's a normal KO on Boxrec, do they later change the name of the KO in such situations?

I genuinely thought when hatton hit the ground he might have died never mind get up, when he was in the recovery position about a minute later and still hadn't moved he looked in a seriously bad way

Hatton was out cold, no way of getting up.

Bayless prob wanted medic's to come in the ring ASAP.
Hatton did not look good after that left.
