He landed on concrete with the back of his head from like 6 feet up. I doubt he was in the proper state of mind to even decide to quite.

A past-his-best battle-worn David Haye tore his achilles midway into a fight against a Cruiserweight killer in Tony Bellew and got his arse back up and fought bravely until the penultimate round - and was still in the fight at the time the towel was thrown in.

Just goes to show what an absolute hero of a kunt David Deron Haye is.

I think the whole ankle thing was to try to get a no-decision or technical draw or some such nonsense. He fell with his feet straight up in the air if you watch the video. BHop pulled that stunts like that a few times to get out of fights early. I think he just thought everybody would just go "OK BHOP, no decision it is" :lupie:

You missed my point entirely; when you are 50, you don't get up as fast as you did when you were 30. You are trying to say Hopkins quit. I find that he didn't make the 20 count easily believable.

He seems to have been imagining that he had been pushed through the ropes.

Are you really going to hold it against a guy who just suffered even more brain trauma than usual? Seems pointless.

To be fair to be hard I don't care if he quit or not. He was 50 years old! It won't effect his legacy

Idk, seems like you're trying to clown on a guy who reduces his quality of life for our entertainment. Kinda gross.
