Hopkins was gassed because of the pace Calzaghe set, not because he suddenly aged in the ring.

Stop making excuses and accept the fact that Calzaghe beat him fair and square while Hopkins was being a *****.

I don't think that reaction to the low blow Calzaghe did land was any worse than Bernard's head butt to Calzaghe's face.

I hope Bernard doesn't intend to try his hand at acting, post boxing.

the replay showed it was a landed puch about midway between the belt and the crotch, and it looked to be as "hard" as most of calzaghe's other shots. how does everyone know it didn't hurt or jostle his cup? most fighters would take at least a little extra time if it bothered them at all and the ref was going to give it to him.

a veteran move would be a clinch, box, move around, not fake a punch and act like you're hurt, did you know had cortez taken points away it could've decided the fight in hopkins favor??? is that fair for the other guy??? plain and simple that's cheating, hopkins is a ***** !!!!!:deal

there clearly was a punch that looked as solid as calzaghe's other ***** shots and it landed midway between crotch and belt. you don't know how it affected him, and why not take a little extra time. it's a "***** move" to whine about it.

Calzaghe's immediate reaction (bumpa, bumpa, bumpa), pretty much sums up what kind of move Hops made.

It takes more than a believer to think that Hopkins would come on the later rounds and overcome this guy. Your energy drains away from you when tryin to block, slip and duck too many assaults at a hard pace. Calzaghe was supposed to slow down, think and get thrown off in the process... Well, Hopkins did what he was supposed to do by dropping him early. Still, he didn't stop coming so Hopkins should have left it all there in the middle rounds... I wrote almost a month ago that there was no chance for Hopkins to get a second wind in this fight. Bernard should have known better so he had to pull out that ***** move to decelerate his heartbeat.
