Haha you really think Bob Arum will put Rios, one of his "stars", on a fight that he will have a 50/50 chance of losing? Its a good fight on paper but Arum won't do that to Rios because he will like to milk him more and a loss will kill his stock.

And I don't think Guerrero and Brook belong to Top Rank but if they do, its the same thing, too much high risk involed. That is who Arum rolls :-(

In a way, but he doesn't have Peterson's sustained body attack and he doesn't load his punches unless he's boxing from the outside. Maybe I'm just off, but I think Khan's speed would give Bradley major problems.

Slightly unrelated, even if you think he would have beaten Khan, it still wasn't shooting himself in the foot. He was stuck with a promoter he didn't want, and if he had signed a fight Shaw would have forced him to sign an extension. He got out of the contract and is now with the most powerful promoter in the business. I still think he would have been smarter to sign with GBP (they have a lot more opportunities around 140/147 than TR), but if he wanted out of that contract, he couldn't make the Khan fight. It was as pure of a business decision as it comes, along the lines of Mayweather not facing Margarito.

Bradley is just entering his prime and undefeated. How did he shoot himself in the foot? He'll make a ton of money in the next few years assuming he keeps winning. And don't rule out a possible Pacquiao fight in 2012 if PBF doesn't step up. There are a million big fights he can make around his weight class.

Well yes he did, i think he could have pulled off what Peterson done but better, pressure and bullying are his bread and butter, people claim he lacks pop but when Bradley hooks from mid - close range his punches certainly hurt enough to discourage Khan.

You are so right. To this day people think Floyd ducked Margarito and that Bradley ducked Khan.

I think he did shoot himself in the foot. A year ago the hype for Bradley-Khan would have sold well. After an ugly but decisive win against Alexander, what has Bradley done besides beat on poor old Casamayor? Nothing. Nobody's talking about him, and while fans want to see him come back and make some noise and challenge Khan, he's just not in the same position to make moves he was right after everyone at 140 was looking to fight each other. Now he's got one more guy to compete with for opportunities at 140, and he's no joke.
