Broner used to have such a bright future. He went out and tried to beat down his opponent in every fight.

Even when he endured a serious beat down from Maidana, he had his moments, and you could argue that the momentum was shifting in his direction.

Against Porter though, he put on a cowardly display.

A display that can only be called, "MAYWEATHERESQUE."

Did Mayweather ruin Broner by turning him into a man that his own father thinks is a coward?

Or I guess the question is, has Broner crossed that line yet? Does his own father think he's a coward and will his father call him a coward on live tv during the biggest fight of his life????

Or is there still time to salvage Broner's career?

I think Broner has a great shot against Provo, but he can't play *MAYWEATHER in there.

*Mayweather - definition: a man who's OWN father calls him a COWARD on TV.

No Broner was blinded by the fame and the fighter left after the Demarco fight.
He just liked the attention and being young and unfocused did not help either. He is another 30 for 30 story about the rise and fall of a young dumb fighter.

He is hype job who would show flashes of talent. When he was fighting at 130/135 was always getting hit and out worked there. His power at that weight is what carried him threw. Now moving up his power hasn't carried well, he's still a low output flat footed fighter.

He seems to only care about the money and fame but doesn't have the work ethnic to be great. Sad thing is you see flashes of talent in the guy, if he would stay discipline all year round he could be one if the top names. So far he's get to were he is and wanted to be. Got the money and the fame, but doesn't seem to have the drive to be better, he's content with just good enough.
