Did Browne proved that it's not impossible to go in Russia and win?

Okay so Browne did it, why Wilder could not follow him? I couldn't see the advantage in the hall. Some people will say that Povetkin is more popular but anyways if the bid goes to Russia it won't be a problem and I hope the better guy wins.

P.S. Chagaev looked pretty outshaped and fat plus Browne is bad. At least it was interesting.

    it never has been.

It's always hard to fight as a foreigner in another country, which often means you have to dominate or stop the local guy to win.
Winning in the UK, Mexico, Germany, the US, Russia, Canada etc has always been an uphill battle because when the fight is close, it almost always goes to the homie.

Reason why some mention they don't want to fight in Russia/UK/Germany is that they have to give up their own advantage. It works both ways.

Didn't Wladimir Klitschko prove it back in 2013?

Yep. It's just as hard for a Russian getting a decision in the USA, as an American getting a decision in Russia.

What people don't realize is that the judges are from all over the world. A lot of the time American. But they can get influenced by the home crowd.

The Groves v DeGale fight, a fight that could have been scored either way was influenced simply because the crowd was pro Groves. They were from the same city.

Not to mention the away fighter is less comfortable. A sign of a champion is someone who can go into someone elses backyard and get the victory. This is't ticked off on the box of a hell of a lot of American "champions", Mayweather is one of them.

As long as you can last through a 3 min 15 second round when you're hurt and get a KO. Sure, it's not impossible.

It's actually easier to win a decision in Russia than it is to win one in America

Results for foreigners in Russia are actually very favourable, if you do the research. You're likely to get a fair decision in Russia compared to a lot of places.

Its possible to get a win ANYWHERE

So long as you separate them from their senses and knock them out so they are unable to know where they are

No Ref is going to let a fighter continue if they are unable to defend themselves and taking serious punishment

Browne finished the fight very well.
