Sorry, I may have missed it if it was ever announced. Looks like he's no longer ranked and hasn't lined up a fight in a while.

Just modern era bull****. They never fight. There was talk of him fighting someone in Spring. I'm sure he'll eventually be back, it just takes forever. Even Perez is back now, I think. The last youngish contender or fringe contender to just give up after a bad loss was Seth Mitchell.

He's a janitor in a bank and makes a comfortable regular income there. I guess he has less of a need to fight.

I'm sure you're right. He'll be back.. But I don't think Jennings will ever be a premiere contender again. It's really a shame. He had decent skills and good potential. But having only 20 fights at nearly 33 years old and suffering two back to back defeats doesn't make much room for a bright future in the sport.

I have heard his team is very picky in who he fights. There are also issues when it comes to purses.

Yeah, hes probably the best smaller hw who doesn't have premier power. I think he could have had a better career, but will probably just come back to beat a couple bums or shot names to make him more marketable for a cash out title fight against someone who will probably blow him out. Would have been real interesting to see him against people like Pulev, Chisora etc, but those kind of matches won't happen for him. Unfortunately they rarely do in this era.

I agree 100% and that's most likely how the rest of his career will play out. A fight with someone like Derek Chisora or Pulev is certainly doable, but given that his management is so picky about who they match him against its a doubtful endeavor..

He's struggling to line up a meaningful fight.

No I'm sure he will be back. Could definitely make some good money, seems to only give tough fight.

I like Jennings and feel that he gets under-rated. He put up a good fight against Klitschko - nice movement and decent boxing. The Ortiz fight was a bit of a blow-out, but he showed heart at times getting inside and whacking the body. I think to write him off after those losses is a dis-service...Wlad and Ortiz are two of the very best in the division. I would still fancy him to be competitive with, and beat many of the top guys - I think he would give Parker a hard time for example. I for one look forward to his return.

There was something in the news a while back about Jennings and a bank robbery.

He wasn't a janitor and he didn't work at any old bank. He did maintenance for the Fed. Skilled labor v unskilled labor.
