Did Bute's management intentionally duck the Super 6???

    This thread isnt accurate and full facts not told.

    I agree Bute hasnt fought the top guys yet but look at resumes overall

    Bute beat Bika - better than Ward,
    Miranda - better than Ward,
    Andrade twice, 1st time Andrade was #3 rated SMW
    Joppy,
    Zuniga, better than Cloud and Cloud beating Zuniga has put him above Dawson
    Brinkley
    Berrio - Holds a win over Steiglitz
    Magee who was European champ and world rated fighter who hasnt lost in 10 fights
    In world title fights.
    undefeated Mendy

    Ward has beaten
    Kessler - #1 SMW A very good win better than any name on Bute resume but remember that Kessler was an unwell double vision suffering fighter
    Miranda not as well as Bute
    Green - who lost to Miranda and was KOd by old Johnson in his next fight
    Bika - not as clearly as Bute
    Abraham - who was coming off of 2 clear S6 defeats and couldnt compete at SMW


    Now Kessler is a better win than anything on Butes record but Butes resume overall is better than Wards.
    Green isnt as good a win as Andrade 2
    Abraham isnt as good a SMW win as IBF champ Berrio
    Kessler isnt overall as good a win as Andrade 1, Joppy, Zuniga, Brinkley, Magee, Mendy combined.
    Common opponents Bute has been more impressive.

    You mean Bute wasn't offered at that point either, and more importantly, he made no protest that he had been locked out? :lol::lol::lol:

    Im not a Bute fan. But you must be completely f#cking thick if you think one win over an unwell double vision suffering Kessler is better overall than Andrade 1, Joppy, Zuniga, Brinkley, Magee, Mendy combined

    Funny how you forget Bute has looked better than Ward against common opponents :oops::oops::oops:

    Oh, it definitely is.

    Kessler > all of those guys, and with quite the margin aswell.
    What does it matter that Bute has "looked better" against common opponents, Kessler looked better in beating Andrade, than Bute in being floored and put down like a piglet running on thin ice with its hoofs.

    You give Kessler so little credit that he would take a fight damn near blind setting himself up for failure.
    Me? I think Kessler's vision was just fine. Not like a detached retina like SRL. Even still, Kessler was man enough to go out, do his best, and give it a shot.
    Unlike Bute who content to just sitting back allowing the elites to fight each other while he fights sub-par competition to mitigate his risk of losing. Sounds a lot like Joe Calzaghe to me. It stinks up the ring and boxing in general. :yep

    Showtime made it absolutely clear in an interview in Boxing News that Bute was not invited due to his past reluctance to 1) face world class fighters and 2) to fight outside of Canada
