Did Caleb Plant cross the line here

His way of paying respect to those who died in the ring

 

I'm not certain he can set up a good, flush blow against young, hungry, and dangerous wolf like Benavidez. Wouldn't mind seeing him try though.

 

First thing I thought of

 

Good recall there with Tito Ortiz doing that, I seem to recall it being a taunt in the Fight Night games too.

He's obviously trash, but he's held to a different standard because of his background. Anyone else gets a pass for being 'underprivileged', but of course Plant grew up yachting near Gatsby's mansion.

You have convicted rapists and ear mutilators who are worshipped as wise old idols, fighters beating up civilians and starting brawls with bottles who are pundits, other guys battering prostis in Vegas and celebrating KO's with creepy dancing and being considered 'cool guys'...

Plant is expected to be behind picket fences mowing the lawn or he's evil.

 

I'm just kidding.

Plant is a real POS.

I hope he walks under scaffolding and it all comes tumbling down on him.

 

The gesture wasn't anything bad, it was in the heat of the moment and Plant was happy he won. Dirrell being a cancer survivor made it a bit awkward.

 

Don't talk **** if you can't back it up, dirrell trashed plant during the buildup. I wouldn't have done it but I have no problems with what plant did. Not everyone is gonna play nice and act respectful.

 

I thought it was funny. Can we really claim the moral high ground when we consume this sport? Are we mad because it reminds us of what we support?

 

I watched it yesterday, i honestly dont like it.

Yeah, but at the end of the day, I'd rather be a sore winner than a sore loser. Besides, why is it exceptable to talk trash before the fight but not after? I know, trying to promote the fight and all, but if there is real disrespect, then I have no issue with what Plant did.
