That Ref is a lame & is always protecting the Promoters main fighters if you go back & notice, he's there to do more than just his regular job.
Jeez. I'm not really following these guys so I have no idea what would've been deserving of that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not clutching my pearls or going to lose any sleep over it but I don't think it's a good look either. Those tassles are genuinely aesthetically disgusting and he should be probably banned for six months until he has a better sense of decorum. So, in modern terms, he wouldn't actually miss any fights but he still would feel very...aware of...his misdeeds. He would feel the judgment. And maybe that would be enough for him to change his life.
Yeah exactly, it's like when these mismatches are finalized i wonder what the dialogue is backstage with the Promoter's & the fighter, i believe they know what they're setting up here which will be to the detriment of that said fighter, but along with that a decent purse to him making it justifiable but still the awkwardness couldn't be ignored.

No line crossed. Boxers aren't the most refined people and shouldn't be expected to behave like gentlemen. That said, Plant is a deplorable human being and ginormous sphincter and warrants hate by the human race.
