Did calzaghe ever fight a southpaw??

    Oh...that was the Kosovan Marvin Hagler Warren todl us he was before the fight.

    Joe did face an ATG in his prime then

    Certainly would.

    But he's retired, and people need to let it go.

    Dawson needs to fight somebody until 37 for a change.

    yeah. those were the only southpaws he was ever in against, right? an even more sore list than i remembered, not that there was any mass of lefty super-middleweight world beaters out there when calzaghe was fighting.

    Someone is probably going to come up with a Calzaghe ducked Marcus Beyer thread now :lol:

    Beyer and Mads Larsen were the only two respectable southpaws about during Joe's Super-Middleweight reign.
    Well Sanavia was around as well.

    So it was just a case of there being very few decent Southpaws at Super-Middleweight.
