    He would have been slated no matter when he retired.The bloke had almost 50 fights.He wanted out so he got out.

    Yup im with you on this one. I`m an A Class Chess player one rank below expert, I love boxing and chess, and i tell you now the 2 are very similer.

    You have the likes of Kessler in chess terms a Grand Master but then you have Calzaghe and Hopkins who you can class as Super Grand Masters. Calzaghe of late wins fights in chess terms he positionally out plays them whereas in boxing terms he out thinks them technically and out manuevers them. Calzaghe positionally out squeezed Hopkins.

    Joe Cal couldve done so much more with his career- he still could !

    The zero disappearing maybe a possibility but its worth it the 0 is not what its made out to be certainly not in this case !

    yes, the amateurs are way different from the pros because you can't choose who you're going to fight. you can pick and choose in the pros and protect that little zero.
