Did Calzaghe say these words in 2003?

nah nah, i dont know about this exact one....but on FNF (some of you might remmember this) Joe Calzaghe was on there, and i think this was last year? maybe 2 years ago.....but they were talking to Roy Jones Jr. about his upcoming fights and i remmeber Jones said "we can fight if you want" or some**** like that then Calzaghe said, "Nah i dont wanna fight you you're my idol".....yo real ****, that's what he said, i think........but now that i think about it maybe it was Kessler or Mundine?, i dont know one of those white SMW champs


edit....just asked and they said they saw it too, it was calzaghe

 

I've come across this quote on a lot of boxing forum sites of late - but I can't any source for it anywhere. It's just stated as June 2003. There must be someone who knows where it originated from - or perhaps it is actually made up.

A lot of quotes are being made up recently regarding Calzaghe

 

I've seen three recent ones all with valid links. Like this one...

Joe wanted to call off the Lacy fight FFS!!!

His dad had to get Joe in line for the fight to happen....

If Joe can doubt himself against Lacy - that should tell us everything we need to know. Which is: No matter whant Joe said or how much he respected Lacy and RJJ - it does not in any way predict that he would lose if they actually fight.
