I either had the first 4 or 6 rounds even, then Calzaghe took the rest IMO if I remember correctly.

:good I was there in Cardiff, and I had Kessler winning the first 3 or 4 I think, then Cal adjusted and took over, although I was drunk and it could be different on viewing it now. Not a schooling by any means, a clear clear decision yes :deal

Two of the judges had it 116-112, which is spot on imo.

If Kessler didn't go down in round 3 (?) and did a bit more in the even rounds he could have eeked out a decision.

So no, he didn't "school" him.

And all he needed was his big bald head.

No. It was a very good, competative fight where Calzaghe took over down the stretch.

No he didnt, your right, I was wondering if I missed something. Cal did wobble his knees with a body shot late on though if I remember correctly.

Sorry, I remembered that it was ruled a slip.

Yeah, Kessler mentioned it in the post fight interview as well. He looked hurt and the ref pulled Calzaghe up for a rabbit punch just as he went to unload.

It depends on what you call 'schooling.' The fight was competitive and good, but Kessler had this look on his face a few times...looked like he was learning a few things about himself. So maybe he was schooled in a way.

    It wasn't a red-ass beatdown, though.

I think that it was a clear win for Calzaghe but Kessler had his moments. I think i had it either 8 - 4 or 7 - 5 to Joe. That being said didn't Kessler break his hand in round 6?
