:good Yep, great shot, ref was wrong to stop it as well if I remember correctly. Although I was 500 miles from ringside, so I might be wrong

You also mentioned you were steaming so there is a slight possibility that the fight had finished, all the fans had gone home and you were shouting at an empty ring.

"Aww ****s sake ref, what you doin!!"

Then the Millenium Stadium caretaker then kindly asks you if you've finished because he needs to lock up.

    Ahhh, good times. :smoke

Calzaghe schooled Kessler in the sense that he could make mid-fight adjustments and Kessler couldn't. Overall, a slight schooling. But then again, he didn't school him at all in the sense that Kessler learned nothing from it.

No way a schooling. JC was in front but he eat a lot of big shots in the last. JC also hurt Kessler badly to the body in one of the rounds, the ref broke the action after a low blow or i think a kd would have occured.

    Now that you mention it.....

 It wouldnt surprise me at all. No word of a lie, one of the mates I went with left during round 9 or so because he couldnt stay awake! We slept in a car in the railway station car park! Great day/night, Cardiff was very accomodating, plus the Danish fans were brilliant. I was wasted though...:good I wasnt as pissed off as when I went to Manchester to watch Barrera V Khan though, thats another story for another day!

Excellent fight for Cal though, initially I was worried, but he did adjust and took almost complete control after round 4

Calzaghe didnt school him but he didnt seem close to losing at any point imo, he beat kessler in the same fashion im 100% he would beat ward. Since i see a lot of people starting to try show how ward did what calzaghe couldnt.

Not at all. Kessler won 3 of the first 4 rounds and the last round. 11th is arguable if i remember correctly. Clear decision though. 8-4 / 9-3 / 7-5. Not a schooling, a clear win though.

No, like stated above it''s a clear win though. JC definetly schooled Lacy and beat the prime outta him regardless whether Jeff was a never was or not.

 I live in Hampshire England, long ****ing day I can tell you. great day out though, loved Cardiff, all the people I met were really hospitable. One thing I remember was waking up in the morning after 3 hours kip in a car in a car park, and watching the street cleaners clearing the ****ing carnage that was last night on my way to mcdonalds! good times

It was a good fight, and Calzaghe was very impressive against a very good opponent. However,"school" might seem a bit strong.

The people in Cardiff are superb.I was there for the opening match of the '99 Rugby World Cup between Cymru and Argentina, and in 2006 for Munster's victory against Biarritz in the Heineken Cup final and found the natives of Cardiff to be excellent people.:good
