Did Canelo end Trout's career or is Cotto only overrated?

    People here hyped Trout so much, I never liked him. He seemed humble but during the face offs he showed hos true face and behaved very arrogant. It wasn't even show or something, he literally thought he is a boxing god. His wife was sh*ttalking before the fights as well and one more reason I am glad of Trout's downfall is this woman.

    Canelo destroyed this guy, floored him. Haters though still claimed Trout won but they DKSAB. He clearly lost this fight. He beat Cotto though .. Lara won too, floored him as well but fought like a coward against Canelo, ran even more kilometres than Haye against Wlad.

    The question is, was Trout really good and did Canelo end his career or was Cotto only overrated? I haven't follow his career much but from what I see he lost every fight against an elite fighter and he even lost against Trout, who has a terrible chin and whom I don't rate very high. He won against a shot Martinez though but ducks Golovkin now and I doubt the fight will ever happen.

    So, whats your opinion on Trout and Cotto?

    Trout was so over hyped it was sickening,with that said he was/is a solid boxer and styles make fightd

    Trout was overhyped?

    Stop listening to the troll alt accounts on ESB.. the actual real fans on here who KSAB thought he was what he still is.. a very good but not elite boxer.

    Losing to Lara and Canelo.. 2 of the best in the sport...

    ..but to answer question.. styles make fights.. and certain styles are all wrong for certain other styles.

    Trout beat Cotto. Doesn't mean Cotto isn't great.. or wasn't great.. he's a future HOF'er. Great fighters sometimes lose to really good fighters..

    in boxing we ****yze losses way more than we should.

    I believe Cotto took him lightly myself, Cotto was coming off an amazing performance vs Maywrather even though he lost, he really pushed Floyd. Trout was relatively unknown prior to the fight and it seemed Cotto just wasn't interested.

    but as the op said Trout was a bit of an arrogant **** especially his wife.

    She's not hot enough to get a pass.:D She's average hot. The kind of hot that the average guy can get. She's not De LA hoya's or Froch's wife hot.

    And yes she needs to shut her mouth.

    I hate when fighter's wives and girlfriends get some of the spotlight. Just shut up and support your man.

    BTW.. Trout is average, if he wasn't a southpaw he would of lost more fights.:deal
