Did canelos hair affect his performance against floyd?

    Not to make excuses but I notice he had long bangs that kept getting in the way of his vision, he kept having to flick his hair to get them out of his eyes. Did mayweather capitalize on this mistake? Would the outcome be different if canelo shaved his head for the fight?

    canelo was willing to lose the fight but he was not willing to shave his head and lose his dignity ... thats why floyd is so great, 100% que ball... dedicated to his craft

    lol I have to laugh because this thought crossed my mind, but in this case I don't think it mattered. Other fights that I have wondered if hair was a problem with Lennox Lewis vs. David Tua (Tua used his glove to raise his hair up dozens if not hundreds of times this fight) and of course the Pauli Malinaggi fight where they had to cut it.

    Seriously though, the fact that something like hair could even possibly be a "thing" in the biggest fight of your life is laughable and embarrassing.

    Yes, it helped him. His wavy locks were actually so distracting to CJ Ross that she forgot to watch the fight.
