Did Carl Froch load his gloves?

As much as I like Froch, there just seems to be something not quite right there. Especially with all the match fixing allegations ( including from opponents in the ring, search YouTube for the video).

Loaded gloves, match fixing.... I am not surprised he has become a snivelling weasel at Sky Boxing desperate to tow the company line...

 

A thirteen minute conspiracy theory video based around a boxer keeping his gloves on, a text from a mate, and some apparent quote from Bute's trainer. Essentially, baseless speculation from the rabbit hole that is YouTube...

 

I take your point. But I draw a pretty clear line in the sand for dealing with boxing rumours, otherwise you have to see them all as drug-taking, cheating scumbags. So unless I see some sort of solid proof or at least some quantifiable evidence - at worst the opinion of a reputable source - I'm gonna move on. This video started out with him saying it wasn't gonna prove anything. He was right....

I don't think Froch loaded his gloves, but he seemed stronger and much more relentless during that fight than I'd ever seen him before or since. He was comparably docile and lethargic against Ward.

I wonder whether there was any PED testing at all for that fight?

 

He loaded that nose though.
