The important question, though, is: Is the 600K more than he'll make against JMM? If the JMM fight is a bigger money fight for Casa, against a bigger name, at his age I can't see passing on a Campbell rematch an example of ducking.
Hey money is not the reason . . . like I said Casa declared that he won't fight Campbell again long long before JMM even consider going tup to 135. :deal
Good question. I don't know. If it is 750K, I can see why he took that over the Campbell rematch for 610,000. Casa's ancient by lightweight standards and I'm sure money will be the driving factor in his decision on who to fight from here on out. His next loss is probably the end of his time as a big money fighter. He's not an easy opponent and he won't have a title as a negotiating tool.
I only heard Casa say he wouldn't fight Campbell unless the money was right. I never heard him say he would never fight him period. Do you think that if that offer to fight Campbell had really been 1 million that Casa would be fighting JMM for 750K or whatever it is?
