There was no bell at all, which is why the announcers didn't hear it. The ref stopped the round with 12 seconds to go, and just BEFORE the "10 second" claps. It looks to me like he signaled "rabbit punch" which is of course absurd. I think he meant to stop the round to give Chisora a BS warning (and really to protect Haye) but the fighters misinterpreted it as the end of the round.

The ref was CLEARLY protecting Haye, who was indeed rocked badly.

This same ref, a little bit later, called Chisora out at the count of EIGHT, even though he was up, seemed lucid, and had his gloves up.

How much more obvious does it have to be?

I'm still amazed the Chisora camp haven't raised a protest. They must have been paid off.

Well Frank said he'd fire Del or something if he ended up causing a scene so he wasn't exactly in the best of places to be stirring the place up.

Awful ref job. Haye had help, end of story.
