Did chris john really beat juan manuela marquez??

    as you know chris john is coming to america to showcase his boxing skills.
    one thing that is intriguing is that juan manuela marquez fan boys keep on crying for a pac-jmm 3 edition while avoiding the mere fact that class b john whooped him and as a daily routine here at esb, they claimed that juan manuela marquez got robbed again in the jungles of indonesia.

    it is interesting to see and read an independent review here:
    for those who saw the fight and or read some articles,

    i think the judges had a ridiculous scorecard... I am not convinced about the argument that it could've gone either way.. Marquez landed more and on the offensive end, CJ opted to run, backpedal, and jab...

    I believe JMM should be the clear winner

    watched it once all tho i am going to watch it again soon(im watching all my jmm fights at the min),i think jmm did enough tbh

    watched it not too long ago, about 2months back, and Marquez was jobbed....in fact, John was about to get put away in the 12th, then the ref. made some bull**** reason to interfere in the fight, not to mention the points deducted twice for lowblows, it was clear that it was Marquez vs. John, The Ref, The Crowd, and the Judges

    I dont think Marquez dominated..he didnt look particularly comfortable with John's style and was often a little frustrated by it.

    That being said I cant possibly score that fight for John and just about everyone whose opinion I respect did not either.

    Not the worst robbery you are going to see thats for sure, Id be almost inclined to say it wasnt a robbery as several rounds were debatable because of the lack of quality scoring shots from both but I think it was a clear decision that went the wrong way.
    What I took out of that fight is that JMM was the better fighter but John is certainly world class.

    Anyone who has seen the video can make up their own mind about it...Im not really fussed about what other scribes said about it, I saw it with my own eyes. Looking at the scores the judges posted it looks like JMM was always going have to really win big to get that decision.

    should of had a rematch clause....but with that said, John is a great fighter, though overly protected, his talents and skill are undeniable, the fight was competitive

    Pac Vs. John would of been a great fight

    i wanna see John Vs. Gamboa

    marquez had to perform. you dont expect a marquez win in indonesia especially for a close fight, do you?? ;)

    i am not a hater. i had it for john. the sweetscience review was spot on. those are one of your guys. :good
