Someone in JMM's camp said, "5 rounds is the most you could give John."......and a ******* such as yourself takes that quote and runs with it.

The person in JMM' team who said that is'nt saying that John won 5 rounds, he's saying there is'nt anyway that you could give him more than that.

.....and btw, Marquez himself after having viewed the fight on videotape said that if you were too look at it solely from Johns perspective, then maybe you can give him 3 rounds!

I dont know what you meant to say by that.....but its absolutely true.
Short of a knockout, there was absolutely nothing that JMM could have done to have won that fight on Indonesian soil.

precisely why i cannot understand why jmm had to travel to indonesia to fight chris john after fighting pac. i am 100% sure that pac was open to a rematch but jmm was pricing himself out of the market by asking for more than 750k and instead getting 30k to fight in indonesia.

man, i am a loss for words. whoever his manager was at that time should be shot. either that or jmm really wanted to fight in indonesia

judges were 1 american, 1 japanese, maybe the other 1 is local. all scored for john by an average of 4-5 points. divac scored it 11-1 for jmm.:lol::lol::patsch

...and JMM, hghly regarded and smart that he is, should've known that all along. He underperformed on foreign soil. I guess, he lacked the motivation, what with peanuts for purse..

JMM (and his fans) will keep on whinning every loss or close decision he got. I have yet to see a real professional sportman on JMM, this man believes he is ****in undestructible that only judges, promoters destroyed him.

    He keep his noise to those things that came not favorable to him but remained tacit to those he'd flawfully gained like;

    1. enjoying a draw decision in pac-jmm 1 coz of irresponsible one judge
    2. a slipped was rulled out instead of KD from MAB
    3. his dear life was saved due to holding in the rope in Pac-jmm 2 fight

John Manuela Marquez? Is that Manuela as in Manuela Pacquiao?

Aside from that irritating Harrison moron, there's some great reading on here, i always wondered about this fight.

Wasn't a massive robbery by any means.....similar to Valuev vs. Holyfield really (not in styles) in the fact that both guys didn't really do anything to convince me they had won outright....JMM was in John's hometown and he lost.

Hometown decisions can be won, look at Kobori last week....you just have to do enough to make sure it cannot be disputed. Marquez didn't and he paid the price.

Marquez is now on his way to bigger paydays and should forget about this, a fight he should never have taken in the first place.

Juarez will probably be weight-drained and John should win on PTS, though I wouldn't be surprised if HE is robbed in some kind of 'get back'.

Would like Gamboa to travel over to Indonesia and fight John....no doubt he's the kinda' fighter who doesn't care about that kinda' stuff (hometown judges) and would try his best not to leave it in their hands. John seems to have a decent beard, but Gamboa is capable of beating him on PTS. Would be a evry competitive fight and just the kind the FW division needs.
