He did, cause he was about to fall anyways, to maybe soften or lessen the damage...ended up being hurt anyway.
I firmly believe he jumped out of the ring thinking that he woudl be able to get the nod after the 4 rounds that passed and he woudl force the rematch and get paid double. Then once he caught the L that's why he was so pissed...
I was there live. Yes, Cintron jumped, but out of necessity. Sometimes when you lose balance or trip, you take extra steps or even jump to secure a better, safer fall. Cintron jumping out of the ring was not a ***** move. However, pretending to be hurt, was a massive ***** move. Kermit, you still owe me the price of my tickets plus parking. Thanks for ruining an otherwise great Saturday night. *****. This content is protected
Yeah, it was a disgrace when he whined about a headbutt after the count of 10, but replays clearly showed he was hit by a left he didn't see coming :-(
I don't like Cintron at all but I don't think he purposely jumped out the ring to get out of the fight, that ****'s ridiculous.....
anybody who thinks he did not leap out must have never walked before. Is that true are 25 of you confined to a ****ing wheel chair and have never walked? So ****ing stupid, I mean come on. I mean Cintron was dumb for taking this fight. Right? THAT should be the real debate.
THIS! Exactly this! Yes Kermit hoped out of the ring for sure, sometimes when u are stumbling and bumbling and momentum is taking you, you will throw yourself in an effort to lessen the damage (come on, anyone that has played sports should know this) and land in a more favorable position. Its instinctive really. Had he not hopped he might have gone through at an awkward angle, maybe gotten his legs tangled up and ended up slamming face first. the hop i have no prob with, he way he acted like he had just been hit by a train is friggin ridiculous tho. If you are going to criticize anything, it shouldnt be the hop (most in that situation prolly woulda done the same), but instead his ridiculous theatrics afterwords.
I really doubt that so early in a fight, mid-spin, he had the velocity of thought to say "Here's my chance to escape a fight in which I'm doing well to secure an easy victory!" and then leapfrog out. Sure, he may have acted like a ***** afterwards, but I don't think he took a dive. And I think those that do just like to make fun of fighters and choose to believe whatever seems more funny to them.
No. I believe he was pulled outside the ring by a magnetic device operated by someone in Williams camp.
