Did Corrie Sanders truly have Wladimir's number?

besides for Sanders power, Wlad did seem befuddled against his southpaw style , he didnt know how to keep him away

 

Ibragimov would be dangerous if he had more pop, Chagaev if he had more speed (like in his early pro days), Briggs if he was 50 pounds lighter (which would solve a lot of his problems).

 

Ibragimov is to small to be real threat to wlad. Briggs have size,speed and power to be somekind threat, or atleast when he was lighter..

 

Sanders crushed Wlad, the Brewster debacle did not happen in this fight. However, with proper training I think the result could have been different. fighting a south paw with fast hands means you must move left after you throw a right. that way you are out of range for the left counter. Wlad didn't, in fact, on numerous occasions he moves right, right into sanders quick counter. no wonder he was levelled. in contrast, other than in round one, Vitali moves only left or backward vs. Sanders.

 

I know what you're saying but the rumor is that Wladimir didn't even spar vs. any southpaws in preperation for that bout.

 

Small fighters can still be very dangerous, a prime Tyson, Herbie Hide (imagine he even had an average/decent chin) would be a better example. Ibragimov has some of the fastest hands, and combinations out of the top fighters, defence is also improving but he doesn't co-ordinate his feet/lower body well enough, and doesn't get enough onto the end of his punches to do more than shake Wlad up a bit before getting KO'ed.

 

There is no chance against wlad who fight outside and move and not try to go battle. Hope this fight come some day...

Any heavyweight with decent punch and fast hands will give W. Klitschko problems...

I believe Povetkin will KO wlad very fast as well....

If wlad is smart he gets a fight with povetkin very soon, before he gets any better !.

The longer he waits the more trouble he will be in.....
