because he is milking the **** out of his "lineal" championship. :-(

GGG will have his 3rd title fight soon since cottos last fight.

i guess its ok, everyone knows he isnt the real middleweight champion anyway.

Meh. He would have to fight someone, and someone unworthy, for it to be considered milking. I'd say it should be that he is inactive.

    I'd say something more like.......

"Did Miguel Cotto grow up in a monastery?

Because he needs to be getting busy."

he wants to be a big boy at 160 but fights the old welter/junior middle fighting at middle..... and his first defense will be against a junior middle.
this will set a world record for the 2 shortest guys in history fighting for the middleweight title....2 midgets at 5 foot 7

hagler was 5 foot 9.....still short for a middleweight

duran was 5 foot 7 but was a ****ing freak of nature....beat the **** out of the 6 foot 1 iran barkley who had recently brutally knocked out the thomas hearns.....

so youre right....they prob hold the current record....which will get shattered

Rumor is Cotto is going to fight Sam Soliman next, after seeing him flopping around like a fish against Jermain Taylor, his mouth started watering at the chance to fight him next.

But that was during the same day weigh in age.
There were 5´7 heavyweights when the average HW was 190 pounds.

Nobody in their right minds would possibly think Cotto is the dominating force of 60. Golovkin is, by far.

Cotto needs to defend that strap soon or he needs to vacate. It's as simple as that.

    A credible opponent ofc.

He isn't milking it. He hasn't defended it yet.

If he announced his next opponent was Gabe Rosado and set his sights on Anthony Mundine after that? Then yeah. But this isn't the case.

The WBC would much rather see the bigger financial match up with their fellow Mexican Saul Alvarez, who has been paying sanctioning fees for years.
