Did Cotto have anything to say about Marg. punches

Don't bother trying to explain it . . . he doesn't realize that a game plan is made in advance and if it works there is no need to change! I do not think he is full **** but just a little slow. I have been trying to explain it to him since the fight was over

 

This highlight really says it all.

In the first fight, Margarito was always coming forward and landing. Cotto was faster and better, and thus got the better of it when he had freshness, and crumbled late.

Cotto was NEVER even CLOSE to the trouble displayed in those highlights.

 

At least he admits he was losing. I mean, he states he wanted one more round, but he asked for one more round in round eight. That is why he came out for round nine. So then what, if the doctor would have gave me round eleven. He was done and no hate here. He can fight another day. Who knows, they may be a third fight if his eye holds up with a couple of decent fights at 154. I would like to see Marg vs Angulo since Angulo is praised a resembling Marg's fighting style.

 

There are more than a hand full of pic's that show's Cotto face after the fight and days later as well. I really dont understand the point of this tread....he was in a fight...was he suppose to come of clean and untouched !

 

Hand wraps or no hand wraps...Margarito is still a tough guy no matter how you want to discuss this point.

He was on his bike since round two and they were using 10oz gloves instead of 8oz gloves, but I'm sure you took that into account, right? :roll:

Look nobody for sure knows if he had plaster in his gloves that night. As Cotto said only Margarito and his trainer knew.

But the chances are VERY high that he did. Getting caught with that **** in the Mosley fight, I mean why the Mosley fight after all?? Not to menthion Mosley walked through most of Margarito punches. The red dye on the confiscated gauze. The damage to Cotto's face.

Me personal I think he did, all that **** just adds up to him cheated in my eyes. People have their own opinion on weather or not he did but I sure as hell think he did.

Cotto fought a great fight. Fixed a lot of mistakes he did in the first and that's why he came out the winner.

Margarito will not make an appearance or take pics after two weeks and then he will post them and lie on the the date of pictures taken

 

I think he was playing to the crowd and his fans the way he did that. They WANT to believe the only reason he lost the first fight was because of loaded wraps. Also, playing up the bad blood aspect sets up a pay day for a third fight if they want it. Remember, Cotto has his own promotion company now and he is learning that side of things.
