Did Cotto lose alot of his power or has Manny's chin got that much better?

ever since manny's legs got massive he hasn't been stumbled. Power doesn't diminish like that.

can't see the video, which round was it in? I know in round 6 Cotto landed two flush left hands and Pacquiao seemed to take them easy. Sometimes when you're at the wrong end of a beating you lose some power in your punches.

Manny's chin hasnt gotten better, they just carried up in weight. His body, bone density has gotten bigger, so he takes a bigger punch. This guy hasnt been KD in over a decade...

Yea i remember that one too. Like a body shot followed by an uppercut that snaps Pacquiao's head back. I think that shot hurt Pac actually. He underestimated Cotto after he got the KD.

2 of the 3 judges scored that round 10-9 despite the KD.

Also, I was thinking about Cotto vs Margo compared to Mosley vs Margo. Mosley was ****ing HURTING Margo with those shots and I think he has better power than Cotto, cause Cotto was also landing bombs on Margo but he just brushed them off. Cotto has heavy hands that HURT over the long run but he doesn't have that kind of power that will put you on ***** street right away.

wow...thats the filipino commentators? You would think they be a bit more excited about their boxing hero knocking down Cotto. You only have to listen to the British commentators here, they have an orgasm if Amir Khan takes a semi-flush shot and not hit the floor.

Since about 122 pounds, when has his chin even been a question?

It's the third round, and Manny wasn't enjoying Cotto's punches, but he was taking them well. The more I see the first four rounds again, I get more annoyed with Cotto. He just needed to keep cool and throw short little combos, then step around, and he'd have had a much better chance of busting Manny up.

Cotto keeps doing it there, and his defence is good enough to handle the speed. Having seen how Manny was fighting, it would be likely he'd have won anyway, but Cotto was a spent bullet after the fourth with no chance left.

His corner should have told him, right after that, "When you open up for any length of time, he will catch you - that's why you got knocked down. Don't open up unless you know he's finished. Keep calm, keep boxing and you'll get an opportunity later in the fight."

I get the feeling his corner kept telling him that Manny was smaller, he'd wilt under the pressure and that the strategy was working. How wrong they were.

that's the thing most impressed in this fight, my analysis on this fight was manny by ko, but about 5 minutes before the fight was about to start, i was thinking how the heck is a guy from 106 pound division gonna be able to take cottos jab let alone power shot.

i think manny did well, however i think the shots did effect him but he just doesnt show it, he was hurt in this fight he said after fight interview, but said he taunted cotto by going to the ropes to make him think his punches had no effect on him.

Look at Cotto's punches in round 4 when Manny was against the ropes.. all his punches looked like Cotto had lost alot of his power or was already tired.

pac has gotten stronger as he moved up but also remember that cotto is a good puncher but not a great one. hes never been a one-punch ko guy.

Idk, could have been both. Cotto's punches didn't have much on them and when they did he didn't jump on it.
