Porter looked good for the first 6-7 rd then gassed. Love Porter, but he should stick to commentary now rather than boxing.

Crawford looked vulnerable in there but also classy landing some good counters when he figured Porter out.

 

Down. First half of the fight he did basically NOTHING. He won 2nd round, that was it.

2nd half he did a bit better but still nothing dominant.

 

Up. He always finds a way.

 

I want to see crawford either :

A) fight Spence at 147lb or Ugas
B) fight Josh Taylor
C) move up to 154lb and take on Charlo

No one is going to look good or take control against porter in the early rounds. Its never happened and never will. Maybe a boxer like Mayweather could tame him?

 

Crawford started slow, like he always does. Against a guy who always starts strong.

He won one of the first 6 rounds. ONE. This supposed P4P king, superb master craftsman won one of the first 6. Hypetrain derailed.

 

Name one fighter who will look good against Porter in the early rounds. And yes he showed he was p4p king but stopping someone who has never been stopped.

 

I expected more but he now has a decent welter opponent on that resume and i predicted he would have won regardless of the stoppage so nothings changed

What kind of TKO was that? It seemed Porter took a dive. Like someone told him "bro, you will stay down in round 10".
