I never figured out how he could save the heavyweight division and also retire at 30. Wouldn't it go back to needing saving?

Anyway I think Haye is a KO waiting to happen, so I suspect his title career is over at HW. If he really did hurt his back I wonder if he may have repeat problems as well.

Career aint over by a longshot. He just needs one fight in america. Preferbly someone in top 10. Cause besides from Aerola, and the klits I dont see anyone troubling him.

Who I feel for its hayemaker promotion if they cant secure a deal. I wonder how this affect hayemaker promotion and golden boy deal.

    1. I would not give Haye a "pass", despite expecting him to lose. Haye, while having the tools to knock young Klitschko out, is still the serious underdog in my eyes. I would consider it a loss as a loss, and nothing more.

    2. No. He just needs to fight maybe two other Heavyweights or whatever and then get a fight with a Klitschko. He still has lots of options, he just needs to keep winning (the same formula for any fighter).

My guess is Setana financial problems offered him a easy excuse to get out of the nightmare that was awaiting him.
You gotta' know he knew he was doomed and that mighty Wlad was pissed.
Now he has to risk his careerand fame by earning a shot.
    Chagaev would destroy him.

Nope. He will need only one victory to get mandatory position.

Haye has not have to fight a top ten heavyweight to get a shot at title. He should he fought Vlad. He would have been knocked out, but it would have been better than now. Looks like Vitali will fight either Arreola or Haye next, so he might get knocked out by Vitali instead. He has never shown proof of injury which he was supposed to have done, one good reason Vlad is so angry.

Haye shouldn't even have a HW career.

He hasn't fought enough at HW to have a career. But he DOES need to do fight soon to stay in the media spotlight. Goes without saying that if loses some fights, he probably won't get another shot at the title.

If the fight had pushed through, Haye will definitely get KTFO, and maybe ruined and never be the same if it had happened...That will definitely ruin his HW career..

This time, he now have a chance to gain more experience in the HW division and maybe nxt or 2yrs from now will have a chance to fight for a title, and that time he will be more prepared and have more experience..
