No way did Oscar take a dive. That would have enchanced his legacy if he beat Hopkins and he was in the fight up until he got stopped. There is no indication in his entire career Oscar would quit. And doesn't taking a dive imply fixing a fight for money? You should change the title to "Did Oscar quit against BHOP?"

I've been hit in the liver before, it obviously wasn't by a professional boxer. It definitely paralyzed me for a good 10 seconds to where I felt like I couldn't breathe. If there was more force on it, I definitely wouldn't have been able to continue fighting.

That is truth, getting hit in the liver is pain.
On another occasion I got hit higher on the right side, and that didn't hurt but couldn't breathe for 15, 20 seconds. Then I felt fine but it would have been long enough for a 10 count.

I do not think it was a fixed fight. I think that Hopkins was getting closer and closer to Oscar and Oscar knew that he was going to get brutally knocked out so he took an easier way out. Sort of like Ryan Garcia did vs Tank.

I don’t think so. What was funny about that was Oscar said blacks can’t take it to the body before the fight.
