I say no. Not even close. The Giants of dempseys time, especially the depleted versions who fought Dempsey were not world class fighters in better eras

Brave words for someone who has never seen them fight other than Willard on a bad day.

God damn you are dense as a brick. But at least you are consistent in this regard.

We do have Willard's greatest performance on film.

And he looked great...nothing like the "slow plodding uncoordinated bum" you like to falsely portray him as.

If we were both water you would be in the liquid state and I would be in the solid state when it comes to intelligence.

Dempsey was a different animal, that toughness and determination walks trough anyone in the division, i give Joshua a chance since he is compact with his punches, but watching the combinations Whyte put on him, i wouldn't be 100% sure.

Willard indeed looked great against Johnson.

Actually I think some of them might pick low hanging fruit like Wilder, who has a suspect chin. But I wouldn't put any money on it. The SHW guys of today would run a rampage on the "big ol guys" of yesteryear.

Charles Martin held a belt just a matter of months ago.
So the suggestion is that Martin is levels above the likes of Fred Fulton and Jess Willard.

Asking a question and answering it makes the rest of us kind of redundant.

It is easier to win a title today than it has been at any time in history.

Not just because there are multiple titles, but also because the expectations of what a title challenger must accomplish are lower than at any time in history.

Even if people like Willard and Fulton were as bad as their critics say, you could always take them to a title by the Deontay Wilder route, or the Charles Martin route.

I am sorry, but people who say that they could not win a title today, are just typing first and thinking later.
