This is basically my position. Martin coming by a belt was a series of circumstances that can't be expected to repeat very often but if Martin can get one, Fulton and Willard could be trained to come by one.

I mean Willard clearly has good punch resistance and good power and good size. That puts you right in the mix these days.

More stooooopitity from somebody who dksab, this is coming from a guy, who posted this dumb observation of Willard:

"Willard is jabbing chin up and leaning into Dempsey's range, his chin like a balloon on a string. Willard is slow to clinch on the inside and clinches with no authority for a man of his strength, waltzing like a drugged hippo. Willard's feet are a tangled mess, squaring up at the wrong time, settled in his hips when he should be on his front foot. Willard slaps with his right at mid and close range and doesn't have the footwork to establish his preferred distance. Willard doesn't change his defense as Dempsey closes the distance, keeping his right low even on the inside. He's a mess."
    Ah, dumb as ever lol

He indeed was a slow, bumbling mess 4 years later in Toledo. Don't misquote me, please.

Wow. I wrote that? Sometimes I impress myself. That is a brilliant description of Willard in Toledo.

Your wit matches your knowledge on the subject. Still waiting for the first intelligent, informed observation from you on the sport. But no, more schoolyard ad hominem. Your every post is nothing more than a proclamation of your own ignorance.

Nothing tops #1 contender George Foreman fighting Joe Murphy Gordwin 1-14. Clearance Boone, 40 years old, 3 wins since 1957 fighting the 1972 #1 contender George Foreman. Then there is Foreman getting a shot at the title off the back of Terry Sorrell who had,not won a fight for 12 years with just 4 wins since 1956!

I think Foreman has the record. Nobody but Foreman went into a title fight after beating a man who had not won a fight for 12 years!

    My oh my!!

As always you are clueless, if you only knew, I will be kind and leave it there. Your willard an alysis was a good example of your total lack of knowledge on boxing, and what you're seeing. On the the hand it is a excellent example of your biased opinions.

Seamus was heavyweight champion of the world in his college days.
Then he went "all Tyson Fury" but he still talks a good fight.
    Listen and learn.
And don't be settlin' in dem hips.
