    I mean this really shows that Wilder's own fear and not self belief prevented him from potentially knocking out AJ instead of Ruiz doing would of made 120 mill in both fights with AJ

    Thoughts?

    Nah he will be fine

    He will ice Ruiz in an undisputed match next summer which will be an American mega event.

    Deontay and Haymon wanted to show those Brits you don't come to America making demands over here baby

    They sent in a b lister in ruiz and he was enough to get the job done. And he will be giving those belts up to Deontay soon.

    All going to plan perfectly.

    You do know that deal was hinged him fighting AJ twice making 30 to 40 million in both fights.. AJ lost to Ruiz which would have made Wilder stuck on DAZN without the AJ fight and not getting the potential full value of the deal..

    Instead he got $20 mil to fight Brezeale and Ortiz and will likely make more fighting Fury with the possibility of an even more lucrative trilogy and if Ruiz beats AJ more money..

    He has nobody to thank more than AJ for driving up his value significantly.. In fact AJ does deserve credit for bringing back big money to the HW division.. But he definitely made the right decision in not signing an ironclad contract with DAZN
