Did DLH fail to adjust his game plan and was Nacho part of this?

Having watched the fight again, this time sober, i am a little perplexed at Nacho's instructions. All he pretty much told DLH was to keep throwing and impose his will. I think he even said in the 5th or 6th that Pacman was tiring. :huh

I think after rounds 3 or 4, i would've told DLH to impose his size advantage and make it an infight. Just stay in Pacman's chest, take him to the ropes and try to land something because standing in the middle of the ring was not working. It probably would not have worked but don't you think a change in plan was necessary as the fight wore on? I think DLH would've probably lost but the point is that his current A plan had no chance.

    Thoughts?

Its hard for any boxer at that stage in his career to learn any new boxing tricks you know. So it wasnt like Nacho was teaching him anything that he didnt already know. What Im curious to see or hear is how is Oscar going to blame for this lost. :huh

Oscar is a shot fighter. He shouldn't be dissed like that for not putting in a good performance. It happens to every fighter, the day comes when they can longer do what they used to do, and it was painfully obvious that Hoya was physically inept. I hope he calls it a day, and goodluck to Manny in future fights.

A weak fighter from the loss of weight and lack of weight gained going into the fight he only put on two pounds for god sakes thats insane.
no reflexes as in the man is old and clearly shot, he just stood there and took a beating following manny around, this is still a good win for Manny but its not like he beat Oscar De La Hoya, Oscars greed put Oscar in this position, Manny has a win over a ATG that was clearly shot, I bet Margarito was laughing his ass off ring side.

lets be honest DLH didnt do one good thing in that fight, actually PAC did more in one round than DLH did all fight. Everytime i watch this fight i see more and more good work from PAC and i see almost nothing from DLH. DLH was basically standing in the ring like a slugger hoping to get a shot more than anything.
