    The case for:

    - Because he has the IBF title, Dubois is likely Usyk’s next opponent (HW undisputed 2) even if he doesn’t fight Parker, so why take the risk? They’re not going to strip Dubois for backing out with an alleged cold and Stevenson’s opponent withdrawing provides additional plausible deniability. Parker is no Joshua money-wise and is very likely a harder stylistic matchup for Dubois.

    - Because Dubois is a 70-30 favourite and has stopped Miller, Hrgovic and Joshua in his last three fights, most will assume that he hasn’t ducked Parker because “He’s not afraid of Parker”, reducing the status cost of the potential duck.

    - Dubois has quit twice in a pro ring at 27, he’s not the bravest boxer in the world.

    - “He (Dubois) chose to fight me over Parker because Parker moves too much.” - Miller prior to fighting Dubois

    Parker was a voluntary so no he didn’t duck him. Dubois was ready to do a demolition job but became ill unfortunately. Parker got lucky now he just has to beat an unfit Bakole to probably get Usyk next.

    Of course not, Schofield didn't duck either. There's clearly a bug going around over there, they need to put the rest of the fighters on the card in hyperbaric chambers until Saturday.:lol:

    If he tries to fight Usyk next it was probably a duck. If he fights the winner of Bakole Parker then it likely wasn't a duck. Pretty simple

    Probably not. Sounds like he got food poisoning or norovirus or something like that.

    Wouldn't actually surprise me if Dubois suddenly felt better tomorrow.

    But I don't think Dubois ducked Parker though. Would like to know in what way Dubois is unwell with, same with Schofeld.

    This - and specifically the fact that Dubois fought Hrgovic alone suggests that he didn't duck Parker, because Hrgovic is a harder puncher and a lesser name than Parker.

    I give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's a bad look. If he's really sick, and again, I can believe that he is, he ought to work Parker back in there.
