Edwin Valero fired off 27 straight KOs w/ 19 of them coming in the first round. Granted, the only scalp of note was Antonio DeMarco.

So do you think El Inca punched harder than Pac or JMM?

Marquez was the first to stop both Juan Diaz and Pacquiao in thier primes, also was the first to stop Casamayor, Pacquiao power needs no intro, But hey Valero stopped DeMarco lol

I always liked Valero and him vs Pac/JMM would been a dream match.

I know it’s only sparring but he did get the better of Morales when they sparred. Also another dream match.

To answer the question, I don’t know but leaning towards no.

Golovkin has a better KO record than Lemieux but I'm pretty sure Lemieux hit's harder.

Possibly harder than JMM, definitely not harder than Pac, imo.

Better than PAC, not JMM. Valero was a prime example of the old trope “aggression properly channeled overcomes a lot of flaws”. I’m not saying he’d beat anyone today or if anyone today would beat him. Sometimes that violent will to win gives you an edge in the ring that isn’t very visible Now when you look back on their careers. Carried Tyson a lot of way as well.

Violent will to win sums Valero up nicely - well said

JMM hits harder than Pac. Especially the roided monster in III and IV.

Valero is naturally heavier-handed than Pacquiao and Marquez; I don't even know how this is up for debate.

With that being said, Pacquiao had much better hand speed and snap on his punches than Valero. Plus he has much better timing than Valero.

Marquez had decent power but it was the timing and accuracy that made him an effective puncher.

Valero would not stand a chance against Pacquiao in a fantasy match up and it has nothing to do with power and all about levels.

Um, that doesn´t prove anything. It just highlights the fact that Valero had a weak resume. Which again doesn´t prove that Valero wasn´t the bigger puncher.

A flawed fighter but also extremely dangerous. I think he definitely had more power than Marquez and maybe even more that Pac.
