And why would I be bitter when VLAD is clearly the best right now ? oh yes now I remember ! I make fools out of clowns when they are talking about ALL TIME GREAT MYTHS and you think I lost those arguments also ! Your clearly delusional !:deal
Just because you keep babbling on and refuse to see other people's logic doesn't mean you win anything. I never owned you per se (nor argued with you), but I do recall Radar handing out a couple of thrashings in various 'Wlad vs anyone' threads. :yep
I'm a huge Jones fan.....Holyfield didn't duck Jones. Neither was in their prime at that point, thought Jones was far closer to his than Holyfield was.
On the Holyfield-Jones negotiation matter.......Holyfield wanted the Jones match, but it seems to me that Jones did'nt. I dont know the specifics of the negotiations, but from what I remember, Holyfield was offered 8 mil in which Holyfield was reluctantly going to take. Holyfield's rightful thinking at the time was that he was a proven PPV top seller, and that he deserved a better cut than what he was getting. Jones was going to more than triple the amount of money that Holyfield was going to get paid. In any regards, the deal fell through over something about Don King was going to take 3 million from the 8 million that Holyfield was going to make over a previous dispute with Holyfield about money matters. So Holyfield told King, if you're taking 3 mil from the top, I'm not fighting Jones for 5 mil...... ......and the fight never came about. Does anybody here no the exact reason why Don King was going to take 3 mil from Holyfield's 8 mil to fight Jones? The reason alludes me! ......but no, Holyfield never ducked Jones. Had Jones wanted the fight, he could have spoken up and said, "take 3 mil from the over 20+ mill I'm going to make for the fight to happen. .....but I think Jones was reluctant to fight and potentially lose to Holyfield who was being looked by many boxing scribes to be near shot! Jones could have made the fight by giving up 3 mil of his mega purse, but like in so many of his other negotiations vs the likes of Hopkins, Jirov and others, he did'nt have the balls to make it happen.
atsch RADAR never handed me anything ! he made nonsence arguments about all time greats and their competition and I essentally made him look like a fool by stating facts about the issue ! last I checked he never wanted to even ingage me ! just like you dont like to engage me in a real debate about the foolishness that is the ALL TIME GREATS ! I suggest you run along now or youll own me about as much as RADAR did ! And you will look pretty stupid ! :good :yep
These dumbass' trying to argue Holyfield duck someone is like using the same logic to say Star Jones is hotter than Pamela Anderson. Only a dumbass would make that statement.
I remember Evander said that Byrd was the one fighter he didn't want to fight because of his style...but then again Evander fought him anyway, so you can't really say he ducked him. Evander can never be accused of being chicken, its part of what keeps him going even when its not for his own good.
