You don't know which steroid they are taking and given how AJ looks im pretty sure he is taking more and stronger steroids then evander did and as time passed steroids have gotten better(stronger and more options for PEDS). still a braindead comment.

Everything you said the opposite is true. Evander had higher dosage and more potent PEDS.

fundamentally they haven't changed much. The testing capabilities and formation of drug testing bodies like WADA and pressure from governing bodies has increased massively since the 90's.

Whether people like it or not AJ is still genetically a freak even without riods which helps with his physique.

AJ is way taller than evander yet still manages to look the same as him which should be harder for taller guys to hold more muscle at lower body weight. As time has gone the steroids have gotten better and more different PEDS, there is no way you can deny this. Many steroids had harsh side effects back then which is why they had to use fewer steroids to not kill themselves. this is why Evander had heart problems. And back then they only used a particular group of PEDS which were anabolic drugs. Nowadays boxers use any kind of PED they can get their hands on like jarrel miller used a stamina enhancing drug. I really doubt AJ is a genetic freak. He just got lucky that he met the right people at the right time and that steroids are more advanced nowadays and he has a group of people that make sure he can take as many drugs as possible and not get busted. In fact I would say evander is the genetics freak due to the things he did (fight way stronger guys) and how is body looks even though everyone used drugs back then no1 looked like him and you cant say he had access to drugs others didn't they all had the same possibility to same drugs.

There is no doubt unless you are a willful idiot. Just google "Evan Fields."

And yes, it does somewhat mar his place in history.

Lets talk about why manny pacquiao refused to do drug test back in 2009 instead.

Press, Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum told the newspaper that the fight is off. According to Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, Pacquiao refused Tuesday to agree to the Olympic-style drug testing procedures the sides had been negotiating.

But why does it ruin his achievements if everyone else was doing the same? He's the only one that has to do it the natural way every other can take PEDS?

Because there isn't any evidence that that they were, outside of Tommy Morrison.

And before you start with any sort of self-important lecture about it, I was around back then, and I didn't see the shape of anyone else's head changing fight by fight.

So no, no evidence, and that is all.

Fun fact... did you know that Floyd never did OSDT in his entire pro career, and always refused to do the testing method that comes the closest (VADA).
He was caught masking, or treating himself for severe dehydration if you prefer, by USADA, and they only disclosed that after the fight and let him off with an unheard of medical exemption after the fact.
Actually there are very few boxers who actually did something resembling OSDT, one was Donaire, but even that isn't as intrusive and indepth as real OSDT.

Yes of course he did, I don't think it's really even up for debate. Way too much evidence suggests he was doping, sure he never failed a test but the 90's era wasn't an era where there was much if any testing.

Of course he did. Do I care? Not really. I figure most world class athletes are on performance enhancers of some kind, whether I like it or not. Just legalize them and nobody has an advantage. Case closed.

Maybe In his mind Evander Holyfield didn’t take any PEDs.. But his alter ego Evan Fields purchased a lot of PEDs and was juiced to the gills in multiple fights..
