I agree.. Some people think Manny carried Tony in the final round of their fight... I laugh at that notion. Maybe just Maybe Manny got a little tired in the 12th and realized Margarito wasn't going anywhere!

I'm not claiming to be more knowledgeable than anyone! Just stating my objective opinion.

I honestly believe Floyd held back for one reason or another. That a decision was made in an instant that went contrary to his natural instinct.

If Pacquiao carried Margarito for the final rounds. Then, yeah...Mayweather carried Cotto in the final round. That's how it works isn't it?

    (Neither carried their opponent IMO).

Mayweather took a safety first knowing he was ahead, if he felt it was close he would have went for it at least, not sure if he would have got it.

and why will the world remember Pac beating Cotto to a pulp? and Mayweather not doing so well, if this is what you think perhaps you shouldn't post here, the general consensus of this forum is that someone with Pacs style will always put a worse beat down on Cotto then what Floyd would.

Miguel Cotto is a very good boxer, both men did well to beat him convincingly.

Yes, I thought Cotto was there to be taken out, in fact Im certain of it.
Im not sure if Mayweather just knew he had the fight won clearly and didnt want to walk onto a swing for the fences Cotto shot while going for the kill, or if he thought Cotto deserves to hear the final bell.

    NO.

Floyd was acutely aware of possible comparisons of his efforts against Cotto with Pac's.

And given how Pac dealt with Cotto, Floyd would have dispatched him if he could.
