I guess he carried him in the same way he has carried every fighter that he has beaten comfortably by decision.

I think he wanted to get him out of there but Cotto wasn't having it.

    I voted `NO, he couldn`t find a way to finish him`

In reality tho I don`t think he had Cotto hurt enough to go for the finish but this option was the one closest to the way I seen things.

Ps. Anyone that voted any of the `YES` options are out of there mind, fmj is one of the most professional & egotistical boxers ever, if Cotto could have been gone, he would have been gone, believe it.

Are you sure that wasn't shock?

The truth is, Mayweather was hitting Cotto with everything he had, and Cotto didn't budge...

    So when he finally did...

I'll let you put it together.

I don't think Cotto was going to go out like that, and if Mayweather rushed him, Cotto might slip in a shot between Mayweather's shots, and put Mayweather on standby.

Mayweather was too smart for that.

FMJ is my guy, but he was dead tired.

That was a great shot he landed, but he also had been made to pay a few times when getting aggressive with Cotto. At that level of fatigue, stretching for a KO can get you a KD. The Cotto that fought Pac was drained AND had a HORRIBLE camp. Cotto was a complete fighter this time and showed it. FMJ respected Cotto's ability to fire back.

He knew he had the fight. The punch won the round. Cotto was tough and his conditioning superb. Ride it out and get the win. I think FMJ made a command decision on that one.

In the middle rounds i honestly thought Floyd was gassed or something....he looked very tired....he got his second wind later but those middle rounds he looked fatigued.

Cotto is one tough ****, only Margarito has ever really been able to get Cotto `outta there` so to speak & he might have been cheating, who knows.

I thought the pac stoppage was very poor indeed, Cotto wasn`t going anywhere when that ref jumped in, terrible refereeing... I see that as a UD for pac more than a TKO.

Floyd isn't the type to swing for the fences and abandon all technique. He was like that earlier in his career but not now. If Floyd knocks so one out its going to be a result of the clinic he's putting on, not from the sheer amount of punches he's throwing(like Pac).

Having said that if he had hurt Cotto earlier in the round, say within the 1st 30 seconds I think there is no doubt that he would have knocked him down(not out). Cotto wasn't buzzed. He was hurt and on shaky legs. Sorry, but you don't fall forward and grab on to your opponent for dear life unless your in trouble. If there had been more time Floyd would have continued to exploit the openings Cotto was giving him but unfortunately not enough time. Regardless it still was a great fight.

Some people have said that but I just didn't see it. In the corner he was breathing heavier than usual and that was to be expected because of the competitiveness of the fight. But when the fighting was going on his punches never lost any steam and he was sharp throughout. So............:nono

No... Floyd would have gone in if he felt Cotto didn't recover. But after Cotto showed he was fine and began trading with Floyd.....Floyd backed off. I think Floyd wanted to ensure that he didn't get caught with anything stupid by going in reckless knowing the fight could have been close on the cards.

No....this is a sport and if you can finish your opponent finish him. Nobody has carried Cotto.
