There`s only a few fighters in history who would have stood a chance of beating Floyd! You actually think a heavily flawed fighter like Khan could pitch a shout out on a foe with a defense like Floyd?! There were loads of fights where Khan didn`t pitch shutouts in fact they are rare in boxing I think you have Khan mixed up with defensive wizard that was Pernell Whitaker who was famous for pitching shut-outs Khan has been hit way more times than fighters with that kind of savvy, Khan makes mistakes all over the place, Floyd didn`t!
Starting to wish this fight had happened. Either Khan proves everyone wrong and gives Floyd a fight few could, or he gets soundly beaten and shut up. Win-win for the fans.
bahah Khan would KO McGregor in a couple of rounds. Spence would do it in 1 if he so wanted... You shouldn't have even mentioned McGregor to try and make a point. Farce.
maybe. speed is floyds weakness. if he cant time you he cant dodge. but even so prime floyd would beat prime khan. it was only late thirties floyd whom khan might edge out.
This. Khan would look good for a couple of rounds than when he starts gassing Floyd would pick him apart.
Typical Khan begging for a cashout. Notice how he never says he wants to fight a Spence, Crawford or even Horne This guy is not a professional fighter who aims to beat the best.
The title of the thread is ''did FM duck Khan'' not who would win. The answer is yes. It was the most shameful duck of his career. He defied his own poll to go with Maidana when Khan was the mandatory then still ducked him when he gave Maidana a return. The WBC will strip anyone for failing to face a mandatory but didn't have the balls to force it on FM. In the meantime Khan displayed the quickest hands in boxing at the time in his win over Alexander. FM came out the next day and said "no one knows who Khan is'' despite Khan being the most talked about boxer in the game outside him and Pac. What he meant to say is ''I don't like guys with those quick hands''. I'm not implying that Khan would have beaten him just that it was a blatant duck which could not be disguised.
Floyd didn't duck Khan, he gave Khan the treatment that Khan deserved. Made the arrogant son of a ***** wait for long portions of his career for a Floyd money fight, that never materialized. That was classic ****.
Khan has pathetically chased the huge money fights for years without putting the hard work in to deserve them.
Khan is still talking Mayweather, go and have a look at his twitter, embarrassing. If Mayweather Vs Khan did happen then Khan would do what Khan always does, he'd look lightening quick for 6 minutes, Mayweather would have by then adjusted to his speed and taken over. Then we'd have all the Khan fanboys saying how he was "dominating until...." Like thy do after every time he gets beaten up. Khan has said similar on twitter in the last 24 hours about the Canelo fight. Khan needs to grow a pair and just get the Brook fight done, I don't even care for it now, I wouldn't buy it unless the undercard was excellent. It's the only fight out there for Khan that's makes him serious money, I don't know why he is so frightened, if Brook is an easy night then go and give Brook a slap and take a large sum of money, it really is that simple. The excuse of "I'm not giving Brook a payday" has long gone, Brook got paid large for Golovkin and very well for Spence Jr so he isn't asking for money, he is asking for a fight. If Khan refuses to fight Brook it will forever haunt him, it will always be levelled at him.
